ActioNet, Inc. is an externally assessed CMMI-SE/SW Level 3, award-winning 8(a), SDB, Woman-Owned business providing industry-leading: Software Development; IT Security; Training; System Integration and Help Desk and Process Improvement and Project Management support. ActioNet was recognized with awards by the Departments of Energy (DOE) and Transportation (DOT) for providing process-oriented support in the areas of Infrastructure, Helpdesk Support, IT Security and Software Development. ActioNet provides stability based on strong financial ratings, receiving the highest “3A1” rating from Dun & Bradstreet, with zero debt. We achieved our CMM Level 3 certification a year before becoming an 8(a). Our relevant client base includes: U.S. Air Force, DOI, DOT, DOE, HUD, U.S. Census Bureau, U.S. Courts, and Capitol Hill. Open Ratings, Inc. has rated ActioNet’s past performance a 92 out of possible 100—we are proud that our first customers are still customers today. ActioNet has grown to 85 employees with 2004 revenues of over $5M. Our investment in exceptional staff has rewarded ActioNet with a less than 10% turnover rate in an industry where the average turnover rate is well over 30%.
ActioNet’s greatest expertise, or core area, is Enterprise Software Development, which includes large E-Government initiatives in both the Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Department of Energy (DOE). ActioNet developed the J2EE-based Enterprise Architecture for DOE/Energy Information Administration (EIA) and deployed EIA’s first E-Government solution in less than five months at a low cost. This effort was featured on three separate occasions in JavaWorld. ActioNet was one of the few small businesses invited to participate in the White House’s Conference on the President’s Management Agenda in March 2003. ActioNet is currently in the process of obtaining our ISO 9001 certification. We are strong believers in process improvement so we can better serve our customers.
